Dixie Valdez was born and raised in Indio, CA. She graduated from Indio High School in June 2011 at the age of seventeen. After high school graduation, Dixie immediately decided to pursue her passion in the industry of Cosmetology. Dixie graduated from The Milan Institute of Cosmetology in October of 2012 and received her Cosmetology license in November 2012. Through The Milan Institute of Cosmetology Dixie met Laurie Bridge, owner and stylist at Hot Headz Hair Design, Dixie was hired as an associate to Laurie in January, 2013. As she furthered her education with the help of Laurie she later gained her own chair. Dixie is now a hairstylist at Hot Headz Hair Design. Dixie continues to further her knowledge and skills in this forever expanding beauty industry by attending various classes and workshops on all the latest techniques. Dixie is passionate in what she does, and her ultimate goal as you sit in her chair is to gain an understanding of your wants and needs and make it a reality.
